The equipments in the laboratories are perfectly suited to carry out toxicological studies. The clinical chemistry and hematology laboratory are well equipped with state-of-the-art automated systems, cooling centrifuges etc.

The histopathology laboratory is equipped with auto stainer, microtome, tissue embedding system, tissue processor and others all made by Leica, Germany. The animal house has also advanced facilities like Individually Ventilated Cages (IVCs), Functional Observation Batteries (FOBs), metabolic cages etc. All these features make SA-FORD an ideal and favorable site for conducting toxicological in vivo tests and meeting customer requirements.

The Engineering department plays an important role in SA-FORD's day to day activity maintaining the required temperature, humidity and fresh air in the facility. There are 3 Air Handling Units (AHUs) at SA-FORD. If required, more number of Air Handling Units can be added.
