SA-FORD stands for "SANCTUARY FOR RESEARCH
& DEVELOPMENT." It is an Indian CRO established
in the year 2008 and specializes in toxicological
studies on rodents. The toxicology laboratory
is located at Taloja, near Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra,
approximately 45 km away from the international
airport.
The business idea and market-need for SA-FORD's
incorporation came after decades of manufacturing
and marketing chemical intermediates, pharmaceuticals,
various finished pharma dosage forms, biocides
and other related products. SA-FORD works strictly
according to international rules and regulations
(OECD GLP, EPA, ICH, ISO 10993 and others). It
is one of the leading toxicology laboratories
in India.
SA-FORD's staff comprises of Germans and Indians.
They have acquired extensive experience in the
regulatory framework and relevant guidelines across
the various industries and different national
requirements. SA-FORD is also a member of an international
alliance of organizations - The
